Philosophy

HK Holding AG markets textiles which have been tested and certified in accordance with the ÖKO-Tex Standard 100. These annual tests are based on international standards together with statutory requirements.

We pay close attention to the environmental compatibility of the materials used in the manufacture of our box spring beds. For example, we use wood from ecologically managed forestry in Germany and Austria exclusively. In other product ranges we have also adopted the principle of buying locally, thus ensuring our ability to regularly monitor our suppliers.

Ongoing investment in vehicles, machinery and heating systems has enabled us to maintain constant energy consumption over the years as production has increased. We are sending our letter and parcel mail climate friendly with the GoGreen-Service of the Deutsche Post.
As a forward looking enterprise we are planning to install modern solar power generation equipment at our headquarters in Neustadt/Aisch. In addition, over 98% of waste from production or obsolescence in storage can be recycled.

As a company serving the international market we see it as our duty to follow manufacturing policies for our products which are responsible and in harmony with the environment. Our everyday priority is to minimize our use of natural resources and to reduce or eliminate environmental impact.
